We have now reached the GCSE exam season. To support you during this time you will have a number of additional sessions run by your teachers - your tutor and teachers will guide you through this and you will find a few reminders below along with a link to the WPS GCSE overview document.

Exam Support during the GCSE exam season

You can view the WPS GCSE overview poster in your tutor room, on the Year 11 noticeboard and via the WPS GCSE site or directly by clicking here

Please note:

  • Support is available in school from 7.30am for all morning exams during the GCSE exam season.
  • Specialist subject support from 11.15am – 1.00pm is timetabled for all afternoon exams.
  • For timetabled English, Maths and Science sessions you will register initially with your normal class teacher.
  • You will complete private study with your normal teacher in subjects where exams and coursework have been completed.
  • It is your responsibility to arrange transport home when exams are due to finish after 3.00pm.
  • The 'entry window' opens 10 minutes prior to the exam time on your individualised timetable.
